What We Do
OpportunitiesForLawyers is established with the purpose of expanding the frontiers of law practice and increasing the sustainability of lawyers across the world through life changing opportunities. We accomplish this by providing online resources for lawyers to increase their awareness and access to opportunities, resources, and skills. We use technology to spread knowledge from our experienced experts to legal practitioners whether in private or public practice around the world and increase their capacity.
By presenting life changing opportunities from around the world and providing tools supporting their growth, we hope to play our part in creating a better world where lawyers thrive.
Why We Do It
Legal practitioners across the world face unique challenges in attracting and maintaining resources for their personal growth and development. Although there are life changing opportunities being released on daily basis across the world, many barriers prevent lawyers from successfully accessing them. Announcements of law related opportunities are disjointed all over the web and difficult to identify; competition is tough and the application process strenuous and many lawyers simply do not have the capacity or technical know-how to effectively go after these opportunities. These challenges can be especially pronounced for lawyers from the developing world. So how can legal practitioners spend less time worrying about accessing opportunities and equally thrive in their chosen career?
The aforementioned question was the founding concept for OpportunitiesForLawyers – to help reduce opportunities barriers for legal practitioners by creating free resource guides on Scholarships, Jobs, Internships, Fellowships, Contests and Latest Funds for law related initiatives, using technology and social media
